  3. Christine Says:

I’d like to use this template for my blog but am having problems with the download. Is it possible to have the html code emailed to me or posted on this page? Thanks!!

p.s. I freaking LOVE this template!

  4. Admin Says:

    Hi Christine,

What problem are you facing when you download? It’s not possible to paste the HTML code here as it is very long.

  5. bida Says:

how to download this template ??? i really2 love this template,
i dont know how to use xml code :(

  6. Swank Says:

    Hi Bida,

After you downloaded this template, you would need to unzip it first by winrar or 7zip. After which there is a craftwork.xml file inside, that is the file you upload to your blogger account. Let me know how it goes.

  7. vikram Says:

how can i use the about, faq sections. also the copyright notice i had put on my blog has been replaced. i need to put the text. how can i do that…

  8. admin Says:

    Hi Vikram,

Go to ‘Edit HTML’ and search for this code:

    a href=”#”>About a href="#"/>Contact a href="#"/>FAQ

You will see href=”#”, change the # to your page/post url and the links will work.

    Cheers,
    Swank

  9. Mica Says:

How If i want to add About me itself and i want it from blogger’s profile and inherit it into this page. how?

  10. Mica Says:

Some people comment to me that this layout can’t commented by anonymous

  11. admin Says:

    Hi Mica,

Go to the blogger profile page, copy the URL and paste it into the ‘Edit HTML’ part with instructions in the post above yours.

Yeah unfortunately this template cant comment being anonymous.

  12. Kelly Says:

When I upload this to Blogger it leaves the generic About me section in there, how do i get rid of that? Or does that have to be left on there to use the template? Thanks!

  13. Swank Says:

    Hi Kelly,

The About, Navigational links are actually images hence you can’t get rid of them, you can use them though. Refer to the above comments on how to use them.

    Cheers

  14. Christina Says:

I managed to get the code put into my blog, but I think what Kelly is talking about is the section that says “Hi, my name is Jane Smith…” etc. It is still on my blog, as well, and the About Me section does have my information on it and shows on the page, as well. Can I delete the information about Jane Smith?

  15. Swank Says:

Oh yes Christina, you can change that content. All you have to do is follow the same instructions as above, go to Layout -> ‘Edit HTML’ and do a CTRL + F search for Hi, my name is Jane’ and there you can just edit the content to what you like and it would be changed.

For the changing of the About link on the menu navigational bar, you can look at Admin’s reply about 7 comments above mine. Hope that helps, let me know if you still face any problems :)

  16. adah87 Says:

    hi..
    very nice template..i love it..TQ

  17. hawa Says:

my previous layout was a very basic one; minima black. i applied your layout, and it looked awesome, but now i wish to use my old layout again.

however, the bookmark buttons for digg, delicious, stumbleupon, reddit and feeds are not deletable. and also the comment image, and the title too. can you help me with that please?

  18. Cansu Says:

    Thank you admin ;)

  19. Laralia Says:

    Hi.
How to download this template ? i dont know how to use the xml. i didnt find the code. plz help me.
    thanx.

  20. Laralia Says:

    Hi.

I already got the code using the winrar… but, it doesnt work on my page… there are a lot of code appear on my page after i save the template on my edit html…
plz help me.. i love tis template..

  21. Cindy Says:

This template is gorgeous, thank you for making it available! I was wondering, if I don’t have a FAQ page, is there a way I can remove it from the template? Otherwise it has no link and is just sitting there…

  22. admin Says:

    Hi Laralia,

After you unzipped it, there would be a file called CraftWork.xml in there. You need to go to ‘Layout’ -> ‘Edit HTML’ and there you can see a text field and an upload button, from this text field box you select CraftWork.xml and upload the whole file and you will be good to go :)

    Cindy,

Do you know how to use photoshop? You would need photoshop to edit the whole background image by removing the FAQ text then re-upload the image to a free hosting site or something. I can do this for you for a small donation of $2 and host it on our servers for free. Let me know :)

  23. Cindy Says:

Thanks admin… I do have Photoshop, and think I understand what to do, so I’ll try. If not I’ll contact you!

  24. peggie Says:

I couldn’t get it to download to my computer either

  25. Christa Says:

I changed the code like admin said to on Aug 30th but it’s not working. When I bring up my blog it won’t let you click on “Home”, “About”, “Contact” or “FAQ”. I noticed the RSS feed doesn’t work either.

  26. vikram Says:

    hi,

is it possible to make the theme somewhat wide which will allow for putting the youtube videos as it is, as the same doesn’t show the videos properly…

The picture which is put on the top for reference also makes you believe that the left column is wider than the right one which is not the case… if the size can be changed then it will be really amazing…

    thanks.
    vikram

  27. Swank Says:

    Hi Vikram,

The picture shown here is only an illustration, the admin cut off the sides just to show it more clearly. I would suggest editing the size of the youtube video by its width and height attributes to fit into this template.

    Cheers

  28. cindy Says:

I was able to upload the template, but at first I thought none of the buttons in the top bar were working…turns out the top bar is misaligned with the image, everything from “home” to “search” is there, just above and to the left of the text it’s supposed to match. does anyone else see it like this, or is it just not displaying correctly on my computer or something?

  29. indiora Says:

I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE WINRAR! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH I DONT KNOW HOW TO UNZIPP IT!

  30. Swank Says:

lol indiora, after you downloaded winrar and installed, all you need to do is right click on the zipped folder and you can see this option Extract Here. Do that and your files will be unzipped.

  31. VIRYI Says:

I seem stupendously wonderful all templates, new clothes for my bloggers … And leave them stored on my PC a lot better … Congratulations …

    Cariños from Venezuela.

  32. Rochelle Says:

    I would just like to say that after spending days trying to change my blogger template, I followed the following directions;

    Hi Mica,

Go to the blogger profile page, copy the URL and paste it into the ‘Edit HTML’ part with instructions in the post above yours.

Yeah unfortunately this template cant comment being anonymous.”

Thank you so much, it was so easy, and is absolutley brilliant:)

  33. Admin Says:

It’s my pleasure Rochelle :) Glad to be of help!

  34. Jackie Says:

Love this template, I was wondering if there was any way I can make the fonts bigger?

  35. Chaynee Says:

  37. Sharine Says:

Help, wat do i do after i download it? there is no place for me to copy de thing?

  38. Swank Says:

    Hi Mivelleza,

On blogger, go to ‘Layout’ -> ‘Edit HTML’ and upload the CraftWork.xml file there. You need to download the zipped folder from here and unzip it first before you can see CraftWork.xml.

Sharine, do you have winrar or 7zip to help you unzip the folder first?

  39. tata Says:

what date header format should i use? im using this template and currently it only displays time above my post. im using the third one right now.

    thanks! =)

  40. tata Says:

another thing, how can i change the font size and font color of the blog title? i like it bigger.

    thanks a lot! =D

  41. olivia Says:

the code is no longer there after i download the zip file..why is it so? what a waste..such a lovely blogskin

  42. Swank Says:

Hi Olivia, what do you mean by the code is no longer there? Did you unzip the downloaded file first? The file to upload is in there called CraftWork.xml

  43. Annie Says:

Hi – we LOVE this template, however, we can’t find how our follwers can follow our blog. Please help us :) Thanks again!

  44. ameena Says:

hi, i uploaded the templates..n its beautiful, but here’s the thing, it appears your profile the ”about us, hi im jane smith…” how can i change that to my own ”about us”?

  45. Swank Says:

    Hi Ameena,

Go to ‘Edit HTML’ and search for this code:

    a href=”#”>About
    a href=”#”/>Contact
    a href=”#”/>FAQ

You will see href=”#”, change the # to your page/post url and the links will work.

    Cheers,
    Swank

  46. ameena Says:

hi..i did it…i edit at the ”edit html and find the about us and edit..but i dont know how to use the ”faq”, ”about” and ”contacts” section..how to do it..can u kindly explain it to me..tqvm!!!

  47. ameena Says:

    hi swank,

change the ”#”..thats the part that i didnt get it well..let me clarify first,

i need to search all those words above and change it to…?

    eg:
    a href=”#”>About
    a href=”#”/>Contact
    a href=”#”/>FAQ

    to….

  48. Swank Says:

Change # to the url of your About Us page and same for the rest.

  49. Daam Says:

please tell me how to add, ads in to the post.(i want to add between title and contents)

  50. James Swank Says:

    Hi Daam,

Its gonna be abit complex. Go to Layout -> Edit HTML

and do a CTRL + F search for

    div class=’entry’
There is the after and before it. Add your ad codes above this line of code. It would be the 1st instance of it in the codes.

  51. Hery Says:

    nice template…………

  52. atiqa Says:

    hi,
i loveeee this template however i cant apply it…
i did all d things u told but it still doesnt work…
do i have to use internet explorer rather thn firefox?

  53. shan Says:

hi, like this template alot.. i did try to upload it according to instructions, but the page loads up blank, with a few icons here and there. are there any restrictions such as compatibility with the websites? or anything to do with my account on blogger etc?

i’ve tried other xml codes, but they all simply dun work… would appreciate if you can help? thanks! :)

  54. Carey Says:

I have tried to search in the html code but the about, faq and contacts portion as stated several times above, doesn’t exist in my template to edit them? How can I write them in? I downloaded it just fine, and it appears to work, I edited the “About Us” section, but there are no codes embedded in the template that correspond to the ones used to edit by replacing the “#” as discussed… what is wrong and how can I fix it?

  55. Elle Says:

This is a super cute template. However, I don’t think I want a white image to represent me (as I’m clearly very dark) and the RSS Feed icon next to the person doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the design at all. Really hope you’ll come out with another more universal version of this layout.

  56. Kylee Says:

Hi ~ Love this template, however, I am sure I am doing something wrong!!! The template has been applied, but now I can not add posts or get back to my dashboard or sign in or sign out….I am so confused!!!

PLEASE HELP ME GET MY BLOG BACK:(:( I want to keep the template, but I don’t know how to update my posts or anything like that.

    Thanks,
    Kylee

  57. Kylee Says:

I think I might have just figured it out???

  58. Swank Says:

Kylee, have you tried going to blogger.com to access you dashboard? I am pretty sure that works. You can add new post from the dashboard.

  59. Kylee Says:

    THANKS…LOVING THIS!!!

  60. Pam Says:

Hi I just downloaded this template and I have a permanent message on it that I cannot figure out how to delete. Its about Jane Smith writing for Transitional Mom Blog… why is this embedded in here? How do I get rid of it?

  61. Swank Says:

    Hi Pam,

To edit that paragraph of text, go to ‘Layout’ -> ‘Edit HTML’ and search for ‘Hi, I’m Jane Smith and I write’ without the quotes. Then change those text to what you want. Cheers

  62. kiddowear Says:

why out of a sudden my templete picture all gone? worry… plsss helppp!!!!!!!

  63. Swank Says:

    Hi Kiddowear,

Our server is undergoing some changes, the images will be up in a few hours time for you. Apologies for the downtime.

  64. Bdinamo Says:

    hi
    very nice post!
ı wat to be my blog.

  65. Katherine Says:

    Hi,

These codes for the changing of the headings simply do not exist:

    a href=”#”>About
    a href=”#”/>Contact
    a href=”#”/>FAQ

Please advise. I am happy to put in if you tell me where to place but it is certainly not coded in the template I downloaded.

    Thanks

  66. Katherine Says:

Sorry one other thing I cannot find anywhere to add my RSS link for the RSS image at the top.

    Many thanks.

  67. Swank Says:

    Hi Katherine,

I just checked your blog, it seems like the template you are using is not downloaded from this site. If you download the template from here, the menu navigational links are already there in the codes.

  68. Katherine Says:

Fantastic – all sorted. Thank you for your posting feedback.

  69. krishna kumar mishra Says:

    dear template maker.,

Is it really free for hosting anywhere, or any other hidden cost for templates.
tell me about, Is it copyright or not

  70. krishna kumar mishra Says:

and tell me what about rss feed, on ur templates

  71. Admin Says:

    Hi Krishna,

Yes, all template images are hosted on our servers for free. You do not have to worry about the images being deleted one day. No hidden cost, its totally free and you can use it as long as you do not remove the footer links.

  72. krishna kumar mishra Says:

thank you very much for your quick response.

  73. Tina Says:

I was wondering how to add cetain widgets to the template like followers. And can I delete some things like the things across the top (home, about us, FAQS, contacts)

    Please let me know.

  74. Swank Says:

    Hi Tina,

You can remove them through Edit HTML, but I am afraid those are images and not text menu links, once you remove the images the template would look weird. To add widgets, go to Layout and Add gadget and choose followers.

  75. Tina Says:

Is there any way I can edit the image and then add it to the template. I really love the template but the links just do not relate to my blog. Like about us when there is only me. And home, contact, faqs I don;t have any of those things on my site.

Thanks for the responses. It helps. One on these days I will make my own template but it is taking alot longer to learn it.

  76. krishna kumar mishra Says:

this templates is not working in safari browser!, any solution for it

  77. Swank Says:

    Hi Tina,

Yes you can do that, search for Craftwork/top-frame.jpg in Layout -> Edit HTML, that is where the whole image is located. Or you can go to templatesimages.com/images/Craftwork/top-frame.jpg and download the image for editing. After that you would need to upload the image somewhere and replace the image link with the one in the template codes.

The on the template Edit HTML page search for

    img alt=’About’

Once you find that, you can change the url links to point to the page you want. Cheers

  78. krishna kumar mishra Says:

comments are not showing on sidebar and how can I change font size in my sidebar.

i can’t put the link to replace the #.. it says there is an error..please help!

  82. Swank Says:

Hi Dory, what error are you seeing?

  83. dory Says:

    referring to this:

Go to ‘Edit HTML’ and search for this code:

    a href=”#”>About
    a href=”#”/>Contact
    a href=”#”/>FAQ

You will see href=”#”, change the # to your page/post url and the links will work.

i get an error when i replace it with a link..

  84. krishna kumar mishra Says:

how can I change fonts in sidebar

  85. krishna kumar mishra Says:

I am new on your templates, so please help me, how can I change font size in sidebar, comments has very little size font.

  86. admin Says:

    Krishna,

I am not sure exactly how you can do that, but my guess would be to go to Layout -> Edit HTML and find the sidebar code and integrate font size=”3″ or bigger to what you want around the text in the sidebar.

  87. krishna kumar mishra Says:

comment font is very small, how can i change it, please help me

    Hi Kellyy,

After you have downloaded the template, you would need to unzip it then you will see a file called CraftWork.xml.

Next, go to Blogger -> Layout -> Edit HTML and upload CraftWork.xml file to the upload field there and the template will be uploaded to your blog.

    Cheers

Once you find that you will find the rest.

  94. Eugenia Says:

How do I get the setting button back on my blogger page? i mean just incase i need to change the template.

  95. Swank Says:

    Hi Eugenia,

Not quite sure what you meant by setting button. But if you need to change the template you can go to your blogger dashboard, Layout -> Edit HTML and upload a new template.

  96. Eugenia Says:

how can you get the dashboard back or the top thingy?

  97. Eugenia Says:

like the dashboard on top is gone

    Hi Hani,

Have you unzipped the file after download? Once unzipped you can find CraftWork.xml in there. Go to your blogger dashboard, Layout -> Edit HTML and then upload CraftWork.xml and there you go :)

  100. Rah Says:

    Love it! Really awesome!!

  101. CraftyMomTina Says:

    I have a few questions.
I know the about us is a image but is there anyway that you could change it to about me?
And how to link to the Home, About and Contacts and FAQ?
I would make a small donation if you could change the image from about us to about me.

  102. CraftyMomTina Says:

I also have a question, is there anyway to make extra pages on blogspot like for contacts and FAQ? I would like to be able to click it them it will direct to another page on my blog. I am not sure how to do that. Like with contacts I just linked my complete profile. Is there a way to make a new page and link that page too?
    Thanks

  103. Brandi Says:

I am trying to use this template and have read through the comments three times for advice on changing the about, rss, home, etc to the post links. I put in the post links but it didn’t direct to the post. Doesn’t even give me the little hand to know it links somewhere. Then I noticed an error (something about line 35, can’t remember exactly), so I redownloaded. Could you please let me know if it is the link to the actual post or the link to a label I need to put in the place of the #’s

  104. Alas Says:

nice … i even thought in using this one

  105. Saruli Says:

    It’s very cute and colorful…
