June 16th, 2009 at 11:55 am
I will be fixing it soon, will upload the fixed version later, download it again after I reply its fixed.
June 17th, 2009 at 5:24 pm
Hi Peksi,
The template is working fine, follow the instructions below.
After login, go to Layout > Page Elements > edit Blog Posts > change time format to long date (e.g Wednesday, June 17, 2009). Remember, change time format NOT date format.
It would be the 3rd field.
June 23rd, 2009 at 3:58 am
i’m trying to open the xml, but i keep getting errors.
June 23rd, 2009 at 9:55 am
What are the errors that you are getting?
June 24th, 2009 at 3:59 am
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Which browser are you using? Maybe try firefox and see if it’s loading fine?
I just downloaded it and re-upload and it seems to be working fine on my side.
July 2nd, 2009 at 2:23 am
This template is lovely! Thanks!!!
July 9th, 2009 at 4:38 am
Hi! I’m coming across another problem in both firefox 3.0.11 and IE 7.0. When editing a post or creating a new post, the field is missing to enter a title for the post… so the post ends up title-less. This happens even when I go to edit a previous post that had a title.
July 9th, 2009 at 9:32 am
April, it seems to be working fine for me the way it is shown in the demo. Have you tried downloading the template and uploading it again?
July 10th, 2009 at 9:47 am
Thank you that worked. I don’t know what else I changed when I was tweaking the code! It’s a beautiful layout, thank you!
July 10th, 2009 at 10:35 am
Okay. I retract my previous statement. LOL After only tweaking a few font values and getting my sidebar the way I like it, I decided to try to edit my last post to add a title since my other posts with titles reappeared… but again, there is no field for me to enter a title for the blog. Could it be one of the gadgets I’m adding that causing the problem? Is this a Blogger problem?
Go ahead and have a look, my name links back to my blog.
July 31st, 2009 at 12:21 am
i cannot open the xml.keep getting errors. how to put the layout to my blog?
August 1st, 2009 at 5:07 am
I love this template! I had just uploaded it a couple days ago from another site. But I wanted to try and upload it from here since the middle part seems to be wider than the one I have (mine is over lapping).
I downloaded it and it was a zip file. (like all the templates I’ve tried.) but it wont let me extract the files, got errors.
How come I cant even get it?
August 1st, 2009 at 11:34 am
Hi Stephanie, which program did you use to unzip the file? I am using winrar and it extracts properly. You would have to uplkoad the WaterColor XML file to blogger after you have unzipped this downloaded file. Let me know more details so I can help.
August 2nd, 2009 at 12:55 pm
Love, love, love the template!
It is just beautiful, thanks so much! Thanks also for the tip re: time format, worked a treat.
August 11th, 2009 at 8:22 am
Thank you for posting this template. I love it! Is there any way to get the dark teal headers to allow more than one line? With the writing in white, if the title goes over one line then it is lost in the light teal.
August 20th, 2009 at 10:21 am
This is lovely. No hiccups. Changed the time and its all working beautifully.
Thank You.
August 24th, 2009 at 11:39 pm
i did everything u said and it still doesn’t work on mine
August 25th, 2009 at 12:04 am
Hi Nadia,
What are the errors that you are getting? Please post them here so we can help thanks!
August 27th, 2009 at 5:09 am
I cannot put the template on my blog! I am using a MAC. I do not see html code to copy and paste. I have tried downloading, but that isn’t working. Can you give directions?
August 27th, 2009 at 10:33 am
Hi Aneka,
The folder you downloaded from here is in zipped format. You would need to download free winrar or 7zip program to unzip the folder before you can find a watercolor.xml file. That is the file you use to upload to blogger. Try that and let me know if it works for you.
September 25th, 2009 at 3:22 am
I’m having trouble with the about me gadget… it actually lists my members under the about me header. Am I doing something wrong?
September 25th, 2009 at 10:18 am
Hi Mrs Strack,
What sort of members are you referring to?
September 25th, 2009 at 11:58 am
it lists the people who read my blog… i figured it would say my profile info.
September 29th, 2009 at 11:18 am
Hi there,
I want to use this template for my blog (blogger.com) cause it is sooo gorgeous, but when I tried to copy and paste the html, I kept getting these error messages…
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The entity name must immediately follow the ‘&’ in the entity reference.
Do you know why this is happening?
Thanks!
September 29th, 2009 at 11:30 am
Hi Jennyfish,
Have you tried uploading WaterColor.xml as a whole into Edit HTML text box instead of copying and paste the html?
Cheers
September 29th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
When I open Watercolor.xml I get this error message…
error on line 934 at column 3789: Failed to parse QName ‘expr:g:’
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or not…
Thanks
October 3rd, 2009 at 5:42 pm
hey swank

how can i make it rite?? ;(
THANKS!
October 3rd, 2009 at 6:04 pm
Hey Zen,
Have you tried uploading the whole WaterColor.xml file instead of just copying the html over?
October 3rd, 2009 at 8:02 pm
And I tried opening with Firefox and this is the error message I get:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Line Number 934, Column 23: <div expr:g:background-color=’data:backgroundColor’ expr:g:text-color=’data:textColor’ expr:g:url=’data:post.abso
October 3rd, 2009 at 10:05 pm
Hi Joanna,
Did you uploaded the whole WaterColor.xml file under ‘Layout’ -> ‘Edit HTML’? I just did that and it worked for me.
October 4th, 2009 at 9:22 pm
hi! love the template… however i keep getting the dates looking like this:

This template is perfect! thank you
October 9th, 2009 at 3:32 am
Hi, I was wondering how I can change the font and colors of the sidebar? Also make the post headers a little larger?
Thanks!
October 12th, 2009 at 5:07 am
Thanks for the template! I’ve been having issues with it though. Sometimes when people try to read my blog, they say the graphics don’t show up and it’s just a tan background. How can I fix this?
October 12th, 2009 at 8:26 am
Hi Jess, it could be our server. We are currently doing an upgrade to it with much more capacity to host your images for free. Please bear with us. After this upgrade the images will appear good and up
October 15th, 2009 at 6:21 pm
I love this template and I decided to run it only on my computer. I’m complete beginner. Please advise …
Thanks!
October 15th, 2009 at 7:56 pm

October 16th, 2009 at 7:03 pm
Hi Mabo, what sort of advise are you looking for? Are you seeking help on uploading this template to your blogger blog?
Hi Pam, you go to ‘Layout’ -> ‘Edit HTML’ and upload the whole WaterColor.xml file and your done
October 17th, 2009 at 12:17 am
Hello,
Nice template. I have been searching (and changing) for nice templates for my new blog. I really love the colours you put into this template
However I am seeing a few difference with the one that is published here.
1. Your butterfly clip is hiding behind the notepad
2. There is a brown strip on the left of the notepad (this makes my published topics seems to be out of place because it is out of the notepad)
Hope you will be able to help me in this. Thanks
October 17th, 2009 at 12:20 am
Oh..one more thing. Your Page 1, Page 2 labels are also gone..
October 17th, 2009 at 12:41 am
Hi Lyssa,
I dont happen to see the brown strip that you are seeing. As for the page 1 and page 2 labels. Are you referring to that on the image screenshot here? It was named as Page 1 and Page 2 for labels which is actually just simply labels, it does not categorize the posts per page. Hope that helps!
Cheers
October 17th, 2009 at 8:52 pm
Hello Swank,
Actually I just thought that the Page 1 and Page 2 on the template looks nice. Hence just asking about it. But if does not appear, it is still ok
As for the brownstrip…it is actually on the left and right of my blog (whereas this template above does not have this strip). I have some problem with this because at times when I go into my blog, my publish date does not show (it is out of the screen). I can fix this by zomming the page to less than 100 then zoom it back to 100%.
Another additional problem I have (it was commented by those that wanted to comment on my page)…is that when they typed their comment and want to submit, they cannot go to the verification word box (it is hidden below). Someone told me if they used the TAB button, then he can go into the verification box. Hope someone here can try it out as anonymous to know what I actually mean. THanks
October 17th, 2009 at 9:01 pm
Ok…to solve my problem on the word verification, I have changed the settings of comment to “pop-out window” instead of “embedded below post”…
Still having the problem of the brown strips at the sides though (do not really mind this but at times it blocks away my published date)
October 19th, 2009 at 11:34 am
hey,
i love it and ive never seen a blog like this, but i have one problem with the register, when i save my new posts they werent shown like yours with that purple date sign on the left hand side, there only stands undefined, how can i change this??
October 19th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
Hi Co, kindly refer to the 3rd comment of this post/page and you can find the solution there
October 22nd, 2009 at 8:23 pm
okj thanks, i just missed this comment!! i just fixed it!! its so lovely
October 28th, 2009 at 4:42 pm
I love this template and have managed to upload it following the instructions above and changing the timestamp – although it wasn’t where you said it would be!!!
However I have lost the lefthand side of the page. How do I shrink it down?
October 28th, 2009 at 5:15 pm
Please ignore previous comment as I have fixed that problem.
Now I cannot edit the font and size of the header.
October 30th, 2009 at 4:48 am
hi, this is by far the best-looking template I’ve seen and it fits really nicely with my blog. But I’ve noticed that my posts float about. Sometimes it’s something simple like opening the favourites tab on the left hand side of my IE8 browser, but I’ve noticed it’s doing it as well when I try to add a widget. Is this something others have experienced? Cheers
October 30th, 2009 at 1:01 pm
Not sure what you meant fully Moira but I am seeing your blog showing up perfect on my side here using Firefox.
October 30th, 2009 at 6:14 pm
Hi Swank,
I’m using IE8. Can you see it from that browser or do you not use it at all?
The post just shifts to the left occasionally, outside of the white background. As I said in my previous post, it moves either when I resize the window (by opening the favourites tab on the left hand side of the browser, which makes the main window slightly smaller) or else when I add a widget to the side bar of the template. I would appreciate if anyone usine IE 8 can tell me if they had this problem as well.
Thanks
October 31st, 2009 at 9:22 am
Hi Moira,
Ok I got what you meant. I don’t see this problem on Firefox or on Google Chrome but only on IE 7. Dont have IE 8 here. But then again, IE is actually one of the worst browsers compared to #1 Firefox and #2 Google Chrome. You should change to Firefox Moira
IE uses outdated browser technology and the only reason why still so many people uses it is because it comes together as default for new computers =/ Right now about 36% of the world uses Firefox.
November 1st, 2009 at 4:14 am
Well Swank you’re right. Unfortunately most of the people who view my blog use IE too, and although I can try, I don’t know if I’ll succeed in getting everyone to shift to Firefox
Until then, is there anything that can be done to this template to make it work on IE?
November 1st, 2009 at 10:53 am
Ok I will see if I can get a coder to fix it. Will update here again when I post up the fixed version.
November 1st, 2009 at 3:19 pm
I finally got it. Whew. I’m a bit clumsy in the coding department, but with your instructions (and only one little intervention from my hubby) I got Watercolor downloaded onto my blog and it is amazing!
I’ve been thinking about renewing my stale blog for more than a year now. I finally started poking around looking at themes. I thought I’d have to change over to wordpress since they seem to dominate with the really cool themes, like Watercolor.
Imagine my utter delight when I found You, someone who had made Watercolor possible for Blogger’s like me!
So, I totally want to hook you up with a gift card. Will you email? For real!
November 1st, 2009 at 3:27 pm
i did notice that on my mobile device the watercolor template didn’t translate over. any thoughts about this? not a big deal. though we all know that mobile browsing is becoming more and more common….
November 1st, 2009 at 6:10 pm
Hi Pam,
I have emailed you
Currently all blogger templates do not work well on mobile phones. I will speak with my developer if they could be done so for mobile phones though frankly I dont think Blogger has the template mobility widget for templates yet.
Cheers
November 2nd, 2009 at 4:34 am
Hi James,
Oh, of course! I had a custom header on my previous template and it showed up nicely in mobile browsers. Not a big deal, but yeah, blogger is kinda podunk about some things. I love ‘em, since I’ve been with them since 05. I’m willing to be patient since they really made it so simple for techno-illiterates like me to navigate ourselves in the blogosphere. Brand loyalty I think it’s called.
Ok, I’m gonna go over to Amazon and get you that gift card. Seriously. Many thanks for sharing your knowledge, time and passion with the rest of us!
November 2nd, 2009 at 11:29 am
Hi Pam,
Its my pleasure helping you and the community. If one day you ever need help or want to port over to wordpress, let me know I will help you with it including the hosting. I am a big fan of wordpress myself. Actually this site is created on wordpress too
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:27 am
Oh my this is stunning and what a find for a freshman like me. Thanks so much for sharing your tremendous talent!
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:10 pm
Thanks James. I’ll keep that in mind. We’ll see how it goes with the new Blogger digs for a while. I’m part of a collaborative site that is about to move to WordPress. That’ll be a great way for me to see how it drives. I’ll let you know…stay well, and all the best….!
November 5th, 2009 at 1:24 am
Love this template… but for the last two days its been showing up as just a tan background when I go to my blog. Help!
November 5th, 2009 at 1:31 am
Hi TC,
We are currently upgrading the image servers with new hardware. The server that hosts the images will be back online in about 2-4 hours time. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
November 5th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
Thanks James! I’m sending out my next newsletter tomorrow and totally want to direct my readership to my new fancified blog. I feel reassured that I’ll be able to do so.
Stay well!
November 10th, 2009 at 9:47 am
Hi, have you already fixed the images? I’m asking because the same thing that happened with TC has happened to me…
November 10th, 2009 at 10:54 am
Hi Patricia, the images problem has been fixed since then. The images are showing fine now, you can check with the demo of this template here. Are you able to see the images on your side now?
November 11th, 2009 at 9:50 am
Today’s mornig I was able to see the images, but now they disappeared again… Maybe the problem is my computer…
November 12th, 2009 at 6:34 am
Oh, now the images are ok, thank you
November 14th, 2009 at 8:25 am
I just downloaded this template and its just a beige background??? I really wanted the images at the top.
November 16th, 2009 at 3:49 am
Hi James,
I would be very happy if you could tell me how to change the color and font. When I click layout>fonts and color nothing appears.
Thanks
Mesecina
November 16th, 2009 at 10:43 am
Hi Pam, are you sure? Try refreshing your browser, maybe the server was down when you tried to access it.
Hi Mesecina, are you referring to the font and color of the blog post text?
November 19th, 2009 at 7:42 am
I love my new layout, however, where the purple tab is on the left for the date, on my website its covered over in writing saying “undefined”? Please help get it off, lol.
November 19th, 2009 at 9:05 am
Hi Jaime,
Please refer to the 3rd comment on this page, you will find the solution fix there
November 22nd, 2009 at 11:31 pm
Ok, I see a ton of people have asked about changing the font but no one has answered so I will try. I would like to have my header be the same as the header on this page. If you look at my blog, the heading is in a very plain font and doesn’t match the rest of the template at all. As someone else said, when you try to go to Layouts > Fonts & Colors, you cannot change anything. How can I get the header font to look like it does here?
Thanks!
November 22nd, 2009 at 11:33 pm
One more question – how often is the server updated? More often than not, the images do not show up. I hate to complain about it since it’s free but it can be frustrating. Thanks again!
November 23rd, 2009 at 1:49 am
Hi TC,
I will check with the coder on the font type and see if it can be changed.
Are the images not showing up for you now? We had to run a few server hardware upgrades and maintenance about a week ago which caused the images to go offline for about a few days at different intervals. But now that the server has been upgraded, the images should stay online 100%.
November 23rd, 2009 at 3:08 am
Still not working. I will keep checking. Thanks for the quick reply!
November 23rd, 2009 at 3:27 am
Still not working? That’s strange! How long has it not been working for you?
I am able to load your site with the images just fine. You can verify as well through a proxy, try load your blog from www . skooproxy.com . com
Let me know if it loads for you through the proxy. Then I may be able to advise you further.
November 23rd, 2009 at 3:37 am
Ok, just checked and now it is finally working.
November 23rd, 2009 at 4:39 am
i can’t open up the xml . . . it says there is an error.
November 23rd, 2009 at 4:48 am
What error are you seeing NL? Please post it here so I can take a look, thanks
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:23 pm
hi love the template but I cant seem to change the font or font size. Is that not possible to do this with this template?pls advise
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:30 pm
Hi Darsh,
I am afraid that is not possible as this is a wordpress converted template.
December 9th, 2009 at 12:55 pm
Hi admin..i’m eqa from Malaysia..love this template but having problem to use it..i know where to change template, but after downloaded from here, the file appeared as images (folder), readme (notepad) and watercolour (for internet something)..i really don’t know how to apply them..i mean which one have to be copied/uploaded to our edit HTML part?
December 10th, 2009 at 1:10 pm
I love this template, thanks so much! It’s beautiful.
December 19th, 2009 at 6:08 pm
Hi. I too love this template but like others have requested, would love to change the font of my header (neither here nor there) to a script style such as you show on this page! How do you change the font and size of both the header and the small text underneath? What do I need to alter in the HTML and where?
TG
December 19th, 2009 at 6:55 pm
Hi Technogran,
I am afraid right at this moment it is not possible, my coder is still finding a way out for that on Blogger platform. This template is originally from WordPress and hence you see that stylish header font as it is possible with WordPress.
December 19th, 2009 at 6:56 pm
But of cause if you really want a custom stylish header font on your blogger blog, you still can. But you need to design it, upload the image somewhere and then change the html code to show the image instead.
December 26th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
Hi, I love your design on navigation tab” page 1 & page 2 ” but I don’t know how I can put them up in my blog, please help. Thank you!
December 26th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
Hi HyeLyn,
Can you post your blogger url in the website field of the comments so I can take a look. You have to go to Layout -> Edit HTML and serach for the page 1 page 2 tag and then edit it to point to the pages you want.
December 26th, 2009 at 4:46 pm
Done that, thank you! I am just starting on setting up my blog today and came across your template. Nice work! Thank you for sharing
December 26th, 2009 at 4:52 pm
Another question, how does the HTML for page 1 and 2 looks like and can i add more of them? Thank you
December 26th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
I believe you can add pages in blogger, if cant then just add a post. Afterwhich if you want to point page 1 to eg. About us page. You can create a post on About Us and link to it from the codes. Hope that make sense.
December 26th, 2009 at 5:01 pm
Yup, thank you, but I am still confuse on how to get the navigation tab design (page 1 & 2) appear in my homepage. Just like the picture you published here. Thanks.
December 26th, 2009 at 5:16 pm
Hmm I get what you mean, I am afraid you have to wait until our coder sorts that out.
December 30th, 2009 at 3:13 pm
hi there,
i love the template!! thanks so much.
however, do you know how to get the font for the header the same as yours? I currently have a standard block type, but would like the script that you have above. thanks!
January 7th, 2010 at 7:55 pm
You are Great Comrade!, I like very much your templates, now I am using it, I wanna your further guideline regarding errors if they happen……..
January 8th, 2010 at 4:19 am

January 26th, 2010 at 5:33 pm
This template is aMaZiNg! I would also like to see options available for fonts/colors. Thank You for offering it so generously. Have you designed any others?
January 26th, 2010 at 6:05 pm
i’d love to get the yellow nav tabs on my site as well, but unable to find the info you suggested to hyelyn over here.
January 27th, 2010 at 10:10 pm
all the template is beautiful but the most beautiful is water color
January 28th, 2010 at 9:53 am
Hi, this is beautiful but I am stuck- i can’t get to my navigation/tool bar to add another post or change/delete this template! what can I do? Basically, it’s like I am a reader rather than the author of the blog….
January 28th, 2010 at 5:19 pm
hi there… i have added my flickr id on the footer coding… added pics on my flickr account… but pics arent showing up… help? please email me.
January 31st, 2010 at 12:58 am
greetings!
i read through previous posts but didn’t find the solution to my problem. on a previous template from blogger you could have on it who is following the blog. i’ve lost that feature with this wonderful template i suppose, but how do i get rid of it from the top of my page? thanks so much!!
wanda
February 2nd, 2010 at 8:30 pm
Hi E,
You need to access blogger site itself to manage your blog.
February 6th, 2010 at 5:18 am
I love this template! The only problem I’m having is that the text isn’t inset enough when I make blog posts, so it crosses over the “notepaper” edge and into the beige border area. I’m using a 1366×768 display. It looks fine at 800×600, but doesn’t translate well to widescreen. How can I tweak this so it looks right?
February 7th, 2010 at 9:58 pm
i’m having the same problem as Nads above. the flickr section is not working after creating an account and adding pics and putting the code into blogger. suggestions?
also, will there ever be a way to get the navigation bar back at the top so that we don’t have to go back to the blogger home page?
love the template! thanks so much!
February 14th, 2010 at 2:57 pm
I’ve looked all around for this info. You have been definitely handy. Thanks so significantly. I’m gonna go have a sunless tan now
February 16th, 2010 at 4:47 am
I have an issue with the date – it will show up for about a second and then disappear and the margins look off. How do I fix this?
Thanks,
Nikki
February 18th, 2010 at 4:36 pm
Dear admin, your site is great…thumbs up!!!Suitable for a beginner like me…do you have kids templates?appreciate if you could share with us more and more colourful templates
February 20th, 2010 at 10:27 pm
Hi – I am getting the undefined date appearance as well however, when I follow the instructions at the beginning of the thread they point to an area that isn’t there. I couldn’t find the date format on the:
Layout > Page Elements > edit Blog Posts > change time format to long date (e.g Wednesday, June 17, 2009). Remember, change time format NOT date format.
It would be the 3rd field.
Edit Posts is under Postings and not Layout. But I have the date already set to the long form…so I’m not sure what’s happening.
Help please?

April 8th, 2010 at 9:38 am
I’ve read through all of your answers regarding the change of font on the header. I understand that right now it is not possible to do this in blogger since it was created in wordpress can you however provide us of the name of the font so that we might create a banner for ourselves if we know how? I’ve searched through all the fonts I’ve got but can’t seem to find one similar that looks nice
Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer!
April 9th, 2010 at 2:16 am
I liked this template. Quick Editing shortcut (pencil image) is not appearing below the post (at the bottom of each post). How should I enable it. In post setting It is enabled. I use get that with my previous template. Also search is not working. Can anyone help on this.
April 9th, 2010 at 2:43 am
Hi Anitha,
Yes this is a wordpress converted template so unfortunately the quick edit button isnt there. You would have to go to blogger dashboard to edit post, a little inconvenience but that can be easily done when you open the blogger dashboard on another tab
As for Search feature, it seems to be working on the demo. Can you post your blogger url in the website field so I can take a look on the Search function?
Cheers,
Swank
April 9th, 2010 at 5:22 am
Hi,
I have attached my blogger. Thanks for immediate response.
Thanks,
Anitha.
April 9th, 2010 at 11:47 am
Hi Anitha,
You are right, the search feature isnt really working that well. I will see if I can get that fixed but no promises.
April 9th, 2010 at 10:26 pm
ok. Thanks a lot. It would also be good if we have the quick link feature in it. Other than that everything looks great.
Thanks,
Anitha.
April 10th, 2010 at 10:17 pm
Any hint as to what that original font in the header might be?
April 12th, 2010 at 9:11 pm
hi,
i make some blog list link on my sidebar, i found it worked however the list is not updated,, i mean one of blog made article, but it isn’t shown (or update) on my sidebar. how to fix it?
regards
April 12th, 2010 at 9:35 pm
Hi Eva,
Not sure how to fix your problem as you are not using the template downloaded from here.
April 12th, 2010 at 10:29 pm
oo really? sorry then,,
April 13th, 2010 at 6:56 am
Ok I figured out the header on my own so no worries there.
My question/problem is that the template is cutting off the word verification box in the comments section so no one can leave comments for me
Any help is greatly appeciated!
April 13th, 2010 at 11:55 am
Hi Leslee,
I just tried posting a comment on your latest post, it seems to be working on my side.
Cheers,
Swank
April 14th, 2010 at 2:26 am
I like this and its working fine for me…thanks…..
April 14th, 2010 at 8:10 am
Ooops. Sorry to be a pain in the ass. But I had to remove the word verification for it to work. I’ll put it back up again so that you might be able to see what I was talking about with it being cut off. Now I know who the anonymous was, maybe?
April 14th, 2010 at 1:37 pm
Leslee, I see what you mean now. Hmm the comments box is not big enough to show the text verification textbox. Not quite sure on how to fix that, sorry.
April 14th, 2010 at 8:34 pm
Ok. Thanks for trying anyways! If anyone else ever has/had this problem I guess the only option is to change the settings for your comments to not include text verification when posting a comment.
April 15th, 2010 at 7:10 pm
Here’s what it says when I try to edit my layout:
‘Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: Content is not allowed in prolog.’
Strange symbols and squares appeared. What should I do?
April 22nd, 2010 at 8:36 am

April 26th, 2010 at 8:30 pm
Hi Swank,
I just started my blog and I love this template as well, thanks!
But I have problems having the Page 1 and Page 2 tags on the top as seen in this image too…You mentioned it’s for Labels right? but my labels are on the side bar instead…how can I make those beautiful tags on top to appear?? Please advise.
Also what is that font for the header? I managed to change it into a more curvy font but I still think the orginal is better.
Thanks for all!!
April 27th, 2010 at 10:54 pm
Hello! What a beautiful template, and I would love to use it for my blog. However, as you can see, next to each title there is the word “undefined.” Can you tell me what I need to do to make that disappear?
Thank you!
Sheila
April 27th, 2010 at 10:59 pm
Oh–also, there are a couple of posts that have comments, and I’m not allowed to read them.
Anything you can do to help would be great.
Thanks again!
April 27th, 2010 at 11:05 pm
Hi Sheila,
Thank you for your compliments
For the undefined part, that is actually the date of the post.
Kindly follow this instructions to setup the date:
After login, go to Layout > Page Elements > edit Blog Posts > change time format to long date (e.g Wednesday, June 17, 2009). Remember, change time format NOT date format.
It would be the 3rd field.
April 28th, 2010 at 5:25 am
Thank you for your quick assistance. My blog looks terrific now!
Sheila

I just uploaded this template to my blog – it’s lovely, by the way.
My problem is the date and the post title are really close together. I wanted to know how I can put a little space between the title and date.
How can I fix that?
May 3rd, 2010 at 2:18 am
I really love this template, but I’m not sure how to install it. I’ve clicked on the “Installation and Settings” link but that only takes me to the main site. Some guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
May 3rd, 2010 at 9:18 pm
Thanks for sharing this.
May 7th, 2010 at 2:00 pm
Hello, I am NUTS about YOU and your TALENTS! You are awesome! Thanks sooo much for making a template that is CLASSY. I looked and looked and looked.
I am a bit of a DUMBASS-as far as CODE–so I’m hoping you can help.
I did-first read–all of the comments–so as NOT to repeat and be a pain in the buns.
* Can you help with the following issues:
1) The TITLE/Header will not allow me to post all of my info about what my blog is about. In my last blogs I added GADGETS of TEXT to the HEADER to get this in. You have no GADGET on the top and 500 characters is not enough.
2) The SEARCH button is cute but does NOTHING–at all for me.
3) I used to have the GADGET called “PAGES” and I could add it under the BLOG TITLE but above the POSTS and you could click on the 4 pages and get my HOME page, My ABOUT ME page, CONTACT page, DISCLAIMER page. I tried to add it to the bottom since you have a GADGET thing there but it does NOT show up. Its almost invisible and useless at the bottom.
4) The bottom GADGET add on seems to NOT really show up. I tried to add stuff. You cant see it.
5) I would like to widen the BLOG POST part a a little without messing it up.
Hope that I made some sense?!
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! You are VERY talented!
May 7th, 2010 at 2:02 pm
PS–I have a MacBook Pro and I use SAFARI as my browser.
May 7th, 2010 at 2:03 pm
PSS- 6) What is the MENU “Configure Link List” and what the heck do I do with it???
Thanks!

May 11th, 2010 at 6:46 pm
Beautiful beautiful template.
I am having problems with comments though. I have had one person tell me they left a comment, another I got an email verification through, and I have posted a comment myself, but none of them show up on the blog (it says 0 comments).
I’m sure it is most likely me doing something wrong rather than the template, but thought I should check.
(I turned off the word verification thing)
May 11th, 2010 at 6:53 pm
Ah, it didn’t like being embedded. Problem solved!
May 11th, 2010 at 7:01 pm
Ok, maybe problem not solved. Now it tells me I have comments, but won’t let me see them.
May 13th, 2010 at 8:33 am
This template is PERFECT for my designers blog thanks!!
May 13th, 2010 at 1:47 pm
Hi Siska,
You would need to use winrar, winzip or 7zip to unzip the folder before you see WaterColor.xml which is the file you upload.
May 17th, 2010 at 4:16 pm
Hi there, I love this blog template. I am not computer savy. I have already downloaded it. But I have a error msg:
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 934 at column 22: Failed to parse QName ‘expr:g:’
How can I solve this problem?
10Q,
Mahesh
May 17th, 2010 at 8:31 pm
Its okie. Found out my error. But I ahve another problem with the Flickr box at the bottom. Can I get rid of it? Will it affect me in anyway? Cos I managed to add on to my Flickr account through adding a Gadget from the Blogger Dashboard. So just wondering of deleting the bottom Flickr box will cause any harm.
Thanks,
M
May 17th, 2010 at 8:44 pm
Hi Mahesh,
Go ahead and delete the flickr box, it wont break the template.
May 20th, 2010 at 1:08 am
Dear Admin,
The template is beautiful, the only problem, No one can comment on my pages, I even tried it, I selected Allow Comments, in the edit page. I went to my blog and tried to comment and when I click the button nothing happens. Can you Help?
Thanks, God’s Lil’ Lamb
May 20th, 2010 at 1:16 am
I can comment on the main page just no where else.
Thanks
May 20th, 2010 at 1:28 am
Okay, I found out what the problem was I changed the comment setting s a couple a days ago, and that messed it up, anyway it’s alright
thx
May 20th, 2010 at 1:58 am

May 20th, 2010 at 2:33 am
LOL Thanks!
May 22nd, 2010 at 3:02 am
This template is beautiful, and it was working for me wonderfully yesterday. Today- none of the images show up. Is there something I’m missing? Thanks.
May 22nd, 2010 at 4:36 am
Working again! Thanks.
May 28th, 2010 at 4:57 am
Kindly disregard my last comment! haha i figured it out
June 1st, 2010 at 5:32 am
Hi,
I love this template and have it downloaded to my computer…
but now what?
Sorry, I have never done this before!
Thank you!
June 1st, 2010 at 11:33 am
Hi Kat,
After you downloaded the template, you need to unzip the folder using winzip, winrar or 7zip. Google those software and download them for free.
After you have unzipped it you will find WaterColor.xml and this is the file you will upload to your blogger dashboard -> Layout -> Edit HTML
Cheers,
Swank
June 2nd, 2010 at 2:06 am
Alright, I have Winrar. How does this unzip work? I open Winrar and it shows a page of odd symbols. I downloaded the WinRAR (32 bit).
Thank you for the help!
June 2nd, 2010 at 4:24 am
Hi Kat,
You have to right click the downloaded file and you should see Unzip here, do you see that?
June 2nd, 2010 at 10:12 pm
I don’t. I have mac and so it is still in downloads. Does it need to be moved perhaps? When I right click, it shows all the normal things: open, burn, copy . . .
Thank you so much for the help!
June 2nd, 2010 at 10:46 pm
Oh your using mac. Hmm I am sure there is an unzip software for Mac, perhaps a quick google on how to unzip files on mac would find you the right solution. Give that a try Kat
June 7th, 2010 at 9:51 pm
hi, i’m helping a friend setup their website.
is there a way to get more than 4 links showing on the top?
i’d rather the links be at the top than along the sidebar.
also, removing the flickr box moves the copyright and other information up into the shaded box. what are the proper codes to remove? do i have to remove the codes that create the box too?
June 7th, 2010 at 10:26 pm
Hi Nic,
Yes, go to your blogger dashboard Layout -> Edit HTML and thee do a CTRl + F search for the current keywords you see in the menu tab, you will find the codes for those 4 menu links, just copy one example of the code lines and paste it to create more.
As for removing the flickr box, you didnt remove any or text that does not belong to the flickr code did you?
June 8th, 2010 at 1:00 am
apologies. i forgot to mention i’m using blogspot, so i’m looking through the posts at bloggerstyles without much luck. i can’t find the keywords, but i do see the xml.
i’ve reset the flickr box and will attempt that when i figure the links out. what i did previously was to remove :
June 8th, 2010 at 3:24 am
hi admin,
i’ve not been able to figure out how to get more than 4 menu links in blogger. from the posts i’ve read on various sites, it seems it’s do-able by editing the header php file, but as this doesn’t seem to be available in blogger, i don’t think that works.
there was also another post from a support person that said it was too difficult and therefore not possible.
what a shame. if you do have any suggestions, i’d be happy to hear it.
June 8th, 2010 at 3:53 am
Oh I just noticed the template, yes this template it would be hard but possible. It would require quite a fair bit of coding for it.
June 10th, 2010 at 4:32 am
hellooo.. this template is soo lovely and beatiful, thank you so much and i really love it! everything works fine and hope there won’t be any problem!
great job!!
June 18th, 2010 at 12:26 am
I do have the same problem as ‘God’s lil Lamb’ but I couldn’t solve it.
On my ‘GuestbookPage’ I wanted my visitors to leave a comment but if you click on the button nothing happens.
It would be very kind if you could help me with that and
how can I post photos on a page (not the mainpage – that’s alright)…?
June 25th, 2010 at 3:01 pm
Greetings. As many have said before me, wonderful job on all the templates you and your associates have come up with so far. You make blogging even easier to express ourselves.
I do have a problem and feel very foolish in not being able to figure it out. I have modified the font for the header and sub header which is fine on the home page, but… creating pages in addition to that, my format does not apply to those pages.
I went to Posting > Edit Pages > Add Page and added pages that way. I have my tabs at the top as it should be after tweeking them in the page gadget. So as far as I know, I have followed the proper steps in getting the pages there, I am just not sure why any modifications I have made to the template has transferred to those pages as well.
Any thoughts?
June 25th, 2010 at 4:01 pm
Hi,
Hmm When you go to Edit HTML did you managed to find only 1 instance of the font type or do you find more? It may have another set to change for the sub pages as well.
June 25th, 2010 at 10:43 pm
The issue with working on code to late, you tend to miss things. I found the issue and corrected it. Thank you.
June 30th, 2010 at 12:39 am
Dear Admin,
I’m still having the problems with my comments…don’t you have any idea of what I’m doing wrong??
I would be sooo happy about an answer =)
June 30th, 2010 at 1:05 am
Hi Emily,
I think the problem you are facing is because of the captcha? Try removing the captcha option in Blogger settings and see if that works. Let me know how it goes thanks.
June 30th, 2010 at 10:56 pm
Hello!
I am using the beautiful Water Color template, but I would like to change the color of the font in my posts. I know I have to edit the code, I’ve tried, but I can’t seem to figure out where to make the change.
Could you please guide me? I would really appreciate your help…
Thanks in advance.
July 4th, 2010 at 5:40 pm
Thank you so much. It worked out perfectly =)

Hi your template is so nice and in the picture above you managed to show the sub page and sub categories, how did you do that? Can you pls. tell me. Thank you.
September 5th, 2010 at 8:54 pm
The theme won’t install on my wordpress account!
For some reason it says the style sheet is missing, and that the zip is broken!
Is anyone else having that problem? If so any idea how to fix it? OR if the creator can add in the missing style sheet
September 8th, 2010 at 12:54 pm
Hey Admin,
Well…bless you for answering the redundant questions of your admirers for going on a full year now!
Quick question – the only problem I had was getting the “undefined” issue resolved, which I followed your instruction for another question asker and the solution worked great. However, under every blog post I make, the text “S&S” appears. What is that? And how can I remove it?
Many thanks, everything else is great
September 8th, 2010 at 1:01 pm
Hi Mjennin,
Thanks for your compliment. Hmm the problem you have seems weird. This problem is not found in the demo nor in other users. You may want to try download and re-upload this template again?
Cheers,
Swank
September 8th, 2010 at 1:38 pm
Oh golly. I spoke too soon. Just realized it was because I needed to edit my profile to give myself a display name. Disregard, thx!
October 6th, 2010 at 11:25 pm
Hi,
I’ve downloaded and applied this wonderful template and now my blogspot looks terrific! BUT the blogger navbar is gone! How can I add it to the template?
Many thanks,
Leni
October 6th, 2010 at 11:32 pm
Hi Leni,
I am afraid you cant add the blogger navbar. This was a converted template from wordpress. Most converted or designed templates for blogger do not come with the blogger nav bar unless you use the templates from blogger. Sorry about that.
October 11th, 2010 at 2:35 am
I downloaded this template but cannot pull it up. Could you please give me directions on what I should be doing? I love this template!
November 7th, 2010 at 4:37 am
Hi! I just installed this theme on my newly created blog.
It’s really wonderful! Thanks!!!
I just have one problem: the date of my post does not appear. Instead, the error “undefined” is displayed on the box where the date is supposed to appear. Do check my site if I didn’t describe the problem that clearly. Help will really be appreciated. Thanks!
November 7th, 2010 at 2:12 pm
I followed your reply to a previous comment (3rd among all the comments) but it didn’t work. I tried making the time format the same with the date format (e.g Wednesday, June 17, 2009) and voila! I fixed the undefined error.
Thanks again for this great template!!!
January 30th, 2011 at 8:42 pm

Hello! Love love love your template. Absolutely gorgeous.
However I don’t know how to get the ‘share buttons’ to appear. I have ticked the box in ‘edit blog posts’ that says ‘show share buttons’ but they do not appear on my blog.
Can you advise?
Much much appreciated.

Hello, it’s a wonderful template.
But it doesn’t show “Read More..” if I insert “After the jump” summaries (tag ) in my postings.
How to fix it?
September 19th, 2011 at 2:24 am
Hi,
On my site the template doesn’t appear properly (background missing, etc) in Explorer.
In Chrome, the links in the first two boxes in the sidebar don’t work. – but they work fine in Explorer.
Please help!
September 19th, 2011 at 2:27 am
Sorry, never mind about the background not working, I solved that!
But still having trouble with the links in the sidebar…
September 21st, 2011 at 11:14 am
Hi! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when viewing from my iphone4. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to fix this issue. If you have any recommendations, please share. Many thanks!
October 19th, 2011 at 11:11 am
how much did you win? How much is a credit worth?

December 22nd, 2011 at 10:40 pm
I love this blogger template, but I have headaches when I was trying to solve some problems.
1. For the purple box on the left side of each post, there should a date written there, but instead mine stated ‘undefine’, I have tried the advice from the 3rd comment but it doesn’t work.
2. The name of the author is underneath the title of the post, not after the text body of the post.
May I know how can I solve these problems?
December 22nd, 2011 at 10:45 pm
I’m sorry but I’ve just managed to solve the first problem, however I am still facing the second problem. Meanwhile, may I know how can I add the time of my post?
December 26th, 2011 at 12:44 pm
Thanks
your template is so nice . It s great!
January 5th, 2012 at 4:21 am
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
January 14th, 2012 at 4:35 am
Really love Water colors and I love the simplicity of the design – so I incorporated it on my blog. Being a novice, I am having some difficulty with the date tag, date under each title and the menu bar. can you help me to fix this problem. thanks!
February 17th, 2012 at 5:27 pm
hip! I do value reviewing your well written articles whenever I get your ultimate feed notify.
